Animal Rescue & Fostering
Animal Rescue & Fostering
PIRATE volunteers with multiple rescue organizations in AB and BC. Most of our volunteering has been with the Rocky Mountain Animal Rescue (RMAR). RMAR is a sanctuary near Canmore, AB that started to help feed, care for, and rescue feral and abused animals from the Morley, AB reserve. This sanctuary provides a home, food, and vet care for these animals while RMAR volunteers try to find them fur-ever adoption homes.
PIRATE is honoured to be able to help by providing foster homes for puppies rescued from the area. To date, PIRATE has fostered 14 pups who have gone on to loving homes!! We are happy to help with any labour, donations, promotion, and fostering we can provide. We look forward to a long-lasting relationship with the amazing RMAR team.

We are so happy to be able to help support local amateur athletes in their efforts to live active lifestyles in their communities. PIRATE is proud to sponsor Mean-Dayna-Jeanne with the Rocky View Roller Derby Association along with local amateur triathletes, runners, and cyclists.
PIRATE also likes to contribute to sporting events in the community through participation and volunteering at races to make sure athletes have a place to compete and be seen as role models in their community.
